The weaving of textiles has been done in Umbria since the 12th century by the tessitori or weavers guilds. Among the most famous traditional centers of looming and linens in Italy is the town of Montefalco in Umbria. These runners are loomed in the Jacquard style from 100% linen. Can be used as a table runner or draped over a chair or cupboard as a shawl.
