La Storia of: Croxetti Hand Stamped Pasta
Made in:Liguria
One of Italy's rarest pasta. Thin sheets of pasta are pressed between engraved wooden moulds to create disc shaped pasta with fanciful images. In medieval times the images were taken from the coat of arms of noble Ligurian families and the Christian cross or "croxetti".
Lighter sauces made with fresh herbs, olive oil and butter or pesto go well with this pasta and showcase the designs on the thin discs.
