A favorite of a Taste of Cositutti, this extra virgin olive oil has a fine yet intense flavor with fresh notes of meadows, aniseed, rosemary and mint. I was first introduced to this oil by my friend Rita in Emilia Romagna and I now sing its praises. This oil represents the best of Italian agricultural cooperatives, small producers coming together to bring their harvest to market. Production is supervised by Italian agronomist Nicola Fazzi of the Colli Etruschi Cooperative which is the name given to the olive oil produced there.
Featured in the Guide to Italy's Top Extra Virgin Olive Oils with several regional and national awards to its credit including Slow Food recognition.
