The art and architecture of Damascus, one of the most ancient cities in the world, can be seen in the Damasco Rustica pattern by Tessitura Pardi. The evocative colors of the Umbrian hills are captured by the artful weaving of traditional linens in the "jacquard" style with details reminiscent of Renaissance frescoes influenced by the ornate and stylized patterns of eastern design.

La Storia of: Umbrian Linens
Made by: Tessitura Pardi s.r.l in Montefalco, Umbria
The weaving of textiles has been done in Umbria since the 12th century by the tessitori or weavers guild. Among the most famous traditional centers of looming and linens in Italy is the town of Montefalco in Umbria.
These towels are artisan loomed in the Jacquard style from 100% linen. They are extremely durable, with each washing becoming softer and more absorbent. The patterns and styles will complement any setting from the most formal to casual and are used on a daily basis in the homes of my Umbrian friends as well as in many of Italy's most refined hotels and country houses.
Colors will vary according to availability: Current colors in stock include crema (cream), celeste (sky blue), senape (mustard), arancio (orange), verde (green)
