Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

Q: What are your shipping costs and how are they determined?
A: We make every effort to ship your order the safest and most economical way to ensure that your products are received in good condition. Shipping charges are determined by weight, size, location and distance of delivery and are based on current UPS shipping rates and fuel surcharges. You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.

Q:When can I expect delivery of my order?
A:In stock orders are shipped within 24-48 hrs of receipt by UPS Ground Delivery. Distance and factors such as weather will determine the time of your delivery. Most orders are received within 3-7 business days.

Q:How do you read expiration dates on products made in Italy?
A:When checking expiration dates on products from Italy note that Italian dates are written dd/mm/yy versus the US style mm/dd/yy. So an expiration date of  02 11 12 on a product made in Italy means November 2, 2012 not February 11, 2012.

Q: How should I care for my Umbrian linens?
A: Linens available at CosituttiMarketPlace are artisan made. To ensure that the linens you have purchased maintain all their special characteristics, we recommend the following. Do not dry clean. Linens can be machine washed on gentle cycle (30 degrees). Wash dark colors separately. Avoid the spin cycle. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softeners. Dry naturally not in a clothes dryer. Dampen the fabric well before ironing. In case of fringes, tie them up before putting the item in the washer in a netlike bag used for delicates.

Q: What does DOP mean?
A: DOP stands for Denominazione di Origine Protetta (Protected Destination of Origin) and is a guarantee for the consumer. DOP designation can be found on other food products produced in Italy such as wine and cheese. When an olive oil bottle shows this mark it means that the oil has gone through a scrupulous quality testing to assure that the whole product process from the rough material to the final bottle has been executed within the specified area which is known to provide a quality oil that is unique and incapable of being produced anywhere else.

Q: Does your pasta contain eggs?
A: For questions about specific ingredients in any of our products contact pmarasco@live.com. La Piana Raviolini with Squash Filling does contain egg whites together with eggs. Most of our other pasta does not have eggs however if this is a major concern contact us prior to ordering.

Q:Where can I get more information about Seeing and Savoring Italy Small Group Travel.
A:Products available at CosituttiMarketPlace are experiential and are based on my travels in Northern Italy, Tuscany and Umbria over the last 15 years with my Italian family and friends. To see and savor Italy as I know it, visiting hidden and little known places off the tourist radar, visiting generational producers who are my source for products available through this web site, go to http://www.italytasteandtravel.com

Q:What does Cositutti mean?
A:We chose Cositutti  for our company name because we wanted to emphasize our committment to all things Italian as COSI is taken from the Italian word cose meaning "things", "belongings", "stuff" and TUTTI from the Italian word "tutto" meaning "all" or "everything".  So loosely translated COSITUTTI means "all things Italian" that reflect our experiences eating, traveling, cooking and shopping in Italy with our Italian family and friends and our desire to bring Italy home to share with you.
