Tuscan Seasoned Balsamic Bruschetta

Bruschetta is one of the simplest and quickest things to make and can be profoundly delicious if you use the highest quality ingredients. Because there are only a few ingredients, each one is important. A quality extra virgin olive oil and balsamic, good rustic Italian bread, fresh basil and garlic and the proper blend of seasonings to add that classic Tuscan zing.

Method:


  1. Dice tomatoes and place in bowl

  2. Mince 1 garlic clove into bowl

  3. Add balsamic and olive oil

  4. Add a pinch of coarse sea salt

  5. Add Taste of Tuscany seasoning blend and blend together well

  6. Refrigerate mixture and let sit for one hour

  7. Grill bread on a charcoal grill, turning every few minutes until brown

  8. Cut other two slices of garlic in half

  9. Using one end of exposed garlic, rub each slice of bread, gently squeezing to extract juices

  10. Spoon bruschetta mixture onto each grilled bread slice and garnish with chopped basil
