For the past 23 years Tenuta di Capezzana has been our signature oil and like many of you we look forward to the new harvest arriving on our shelves at the beginning of the year. Our partners in Tuscany take great care with their small batch production, producing estate farm olive oil made from olives that have been grown, harvested, and bottled at the source, ensuring the highest possible quality. Rich in aromas typical of the region, there is a one to one relationship between the ancient tree stock and the oil - the olives from one tree make one bottle of oil. It's as if each bottle of oil was made especially for you. Fresh, high quality, genuine extra-virgin olive oil with the coveted D.O.P. seal, a designation conferred by the European Union that guarantees its quality, geographical origin, producer, the variety of olive used, date of production and other details that distinguishes it from other oils.
The olives that are used to make this oil were picked and bottled on the estate farm at Tenuta di Capezzna within 12-24 hours of production. Production methods are both traditional (olives are harvested by hand) and modern to best preserve the optimal scents, aromas and flavors of this exceptional oil. I've seen the new harvest of olives picked, pressed and bottled at Capezzana. Believe me there is nothing like tasting "new oil" and I can say, without hesitation, that you are absolutely buying one of the best olive oils* in the world.
As production and supply chain issues have effected this year's harvest, we will be accepting pre-orders for this oil. Use the following link to message us regarding your pre-order request including the number of bottles. We will queue your request and contact you with product availability and expected shipping dates with anticipated deliveries the later part of January or early February. When available, product will be listed on-line at CosituttiMarketPlace. You can then place your order.
It matters where you buy your olive oil* and we appreciate your consideration and continued support in buying the annual harvest from Capezzana, regional artisan supplier that reflects our commitment to the culinary and cultural heritage of regional Italian food and sustainable farming practices and follow our purposes and pleasure "from the land to the artisan's hand, from generational producers, from us to you".
